Maguire's natural cork is made from the renewable bark of cork oak trees, forested in the Mediterranean countries of Portugal and Spain. Cork is hypoallergenic and will not off gas or shed any fibers. It is naturally fire retardant and resistant to temperature fluctuation serving as an excellent thermal insulator.

Cork is available in a multitude of colors and textures, ranging from parquet looks to large cratered appearances. You will find that the stained varieties of cork highlight the natural veins and craters, while natural colour cork is a more subtle look. Maguire's offers engineered, floating cork that can be installed above or below grade, but does require the use of a vapour barrier.
